Well, medical Professionals are lacking around the world. Actually, I just heard on the news here that they sent a little Boy with brain cancer from CHEO to the Hospital in Montreal. They must have a Unit there specifically for that trauma.

Yes, some dogs and cats seem to automatically know when a Diabetic is low. And they whine around the Person and lick them until they wake up.

Too bad you aren't on this side of the Ottawa River. You may have heard that Insulin Pumps and supplies are free for Insulin dependant Diabetics here. Perhaps your Province will be next for the pumps. That could help your BoyFriend. For now he has to learn and understand about Diabetes, how his Insulin, exercise, foods, stress, etc., etc., affect him. Then he would be better at it. Always being on the run is not Good for a Diabetic. I hope he's not on N.P.H. Insulin. It affects most(not all)Diabetics badly because of the peaks.
