Type 1 diabetes
Hello
If you are truly a type 1 diabetic,you must have insulin because your pancreas cannot make insulin.Low carb diet will decrease the amount
of insulin you must take but insulin is required FOR TYPE 1 DIABETIC
OR YOU WILL SUFFER HORRIBLE THINGS LIKE KIDNEY FAILURE,BLINDNESS,
LIMB AMPUTATION OR DEATH BY HEART ATTACK.
If I were in your place,I would ask my doctor to prove to me that I am
indeed a type 1 diabetic.Type 2 diabetics can sometimes control their
glucose levels with diet and exercise but sometimes diabetes pills or insulin
are required for type 2 diabetics.
