Default Type 1 diabetic what are you guys getting for A1C?

I was just wondering only once I had a 7.0 A1C most of the time I get a 7.3-7.6.

Regardless of type, the A1C is all about blood sugar control. Some people are able to hit lower targets than others, and over time you may find that what's achievable for you (while staying sane) changes.

Do your fingersticks match up with your A1C? Or based on your own tests, were you expecting a different result than what you got?

I use a Dexcom G4 CGM i find its accuracy is... so so but better than my past poking my finger 10-12 times a day. As a type 1 I also have resistance to insulin on some days.

Oh nice! I love CGMs.

Sorry I don't have more helpful experiences to share with T1's and A1C. Though with a CGM I'd care a heck of a lot more about time in range and % hypos, than the A1C. It's too easy to "game" the A1C, and depending on one's personal situation (young woman still menstruating, anemic, etc) isn't terribly accurate.
