Default Has anyone tried "Bitter Melon," and did it lower your B.G.?

I saw an article recently on "Bitter Melon" a Chinese Fruit, and Bitter Melon capsules and Tea--it is supposed to work better than Glyburide at lowering blood glucose and it's all natural. Has anyone ever tried this and did it lower your blood glucose or not? If you tried it, how do you take it--tea, capsule, actual food--and how often and what do you eat daily i.e. low carb--or high carb lowfat etc... Thank you!

Bitter melon worked for me. It was important for me to take it 15-20 minutes before I ate on an empty stomach.

The problem with bitter melon and others like it, when you stop taking it, it stops working. Mi tend to go for things that have longer lasting effects.

I ate 2 or 3 of them fresh, just slicing some off each time, at the start of a meal. They didn't do anything I could measure and I didn't really care for them, so that was the end of that.
