Oh, I like that idea. Love peanut butter, but shouldn't have much at one time. This would do the trick.

I did try a Kind bar today (Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate). Pretty good and 17 grams (200 calories). They sell them at Starbucks, but kindof pricey there, so Ebay is a good choice. This might be a good errand day snack for me during cooler weather (will melt in my purse right now). Lowest carb gr. bar I've seen (most are between 23-30 gr). I did find that each bar had a different number of gr..

The peanut butter kind bars seem to the the lowest carb of all their varieties. I have been relying on them when traveling where decent meals are hard to come by.

I finally figured out that "TJs" is Trader Jo's. No store VERY local to me, but there is one down the street from the endo that I will be seeing next week. Gonna pick up some of that TJs spicy Italian chicken sausage and try that. I can't eat sausage in the a.m. usually, so want to give that a shot with my eggs.

Trader Joe's sells a "Simply Nutty" bar, in boxes of five, that is very much like the Kind bars and has the same small effect on my BGs. Quite a bit cheaper.
