Insulin really isn't scary. I've been using it since I was six and have never had to call 911. I have had my sugar drop, but that is something I'm use to happening from time to time.
Ok, but how many days do I have to do it. I am speaking about my readings. I have had hypo 3 times or more. Once really bad, but the other ones I woke up in a sweat. Oh, is this meat you are speaking of? Sam

I'm not Anna but will try to answer since I'm the one who's a fan

It has a yogurt-like tang, and I put a (large) dollop on vegetable dishes, dip vegetables in it, and eat it plain with a spoon. It's a great condiment to use with spicy dishes, but I've eaten it with about anything: eggs, veggies, meats.

The Relion Prime is a blood testing machine. It will probably be different for you to get your numbers figured out. There are other people that will be able to help you a lot more than I can.

Thank you moon,
I found that both Sprouts and Safeway carry it. Intend to get some today. This I had never heard of before. Sam

Hi div2live,
How high did your cholesterol get? My doctor is concerned because my LDL is 243 or so. I'm eating what is suggested on the high fat thread, maybe too many nuts. My BG is good but now it's cholesterol. I don't want to go on meds for that.

To be honesty I dcided to stop the LCHF diet. Just eat low carb usually through the week. What you are having problems with is what I fear. I have arteriosclerosis. I have a niece that is an assistant professor with her degree in nutrition/diatetics (SP) at Brown University (Ivy). She told me not to stop the LCHF diet having the arteriosclerosis. She said even the studies on coconut oil which is saturated fat are not conclusive. I get my results back on Thursday. I know something is going to need to be done. I do eat nuts everyday and I was doing exactly the same thing. Possibly eat to many. My brother and I both are on satin drugs for cholesterol.
