Unhappy frozen insulin

help i pulled a stupid while we are on vacation while moving stuff into our condo I placed my insulin in the freezer for about 3 hours 2 brand new vials and one new pen does any body know if it will be any good to use the rest of mine is an 8 hour drive away

I'm sorry but I think it's ruined. I have no experience of it but mine states that it can't take that temperature.
Isn't there a pharmacy near where you are so you don't have to go all the way back home?

I don't see it being an issue since it was a short tune in the freezer. As long it stays clear and liquid you should be okay.

If its been in freezer it has probably been killed .if it were me I would go to nearest pharmacy or chemist or even hospital they should give you enough to tied you over til you get home .they may ring your doctor for verification, take your old ones with you.

It cannot go to temp below 5*Celsius in a fridge.

If it is a fast acting insulin, in a pinch, you could go to Walmart and pick up Regular insulin. You do not need a script for that and it is inexpensive at Walmart.
