milkmaade, one does what one can. I can't do much "real" exercise because of a back injury and constant fatigue. I do some stretching and mild exercises and walk when I can (less than a mile on the treadmill), but not on a regular basis.

Grilled burgers for Father's Day afternoon then went on a 6.3 mile hike with a couple of the grandkids.

Getting ready to go camping this weekend. Took the bike in to the bike shop for a tune up and found out one go my gears on the back cassette had broken loose, that explained the problem I've had recently with it suddenly shifting on its on for no reason. They said I'd get it back in time for the camping trip.

Daily steps have been pretty erratic, 20,000 one day and 4,000 the next, but hope to get back in line with that too.

glwison, after thinking about cat scratch fever a bit, I remembered another applicable song also from Uncle Ted - Stranglehold

Got lots of steps in while camping, 17,000-20,000 per day, mostly in the early morning before it could even think about getting hot. I would walk the full length of the campground and back every morning before breakfast, a 4 mile round trip.

Rode my bike around in the campgrounds a few miles with one of my grandsons a couple of times. Last night, took off by myself and rode the length of the campgrounds and then out to the main highway and back, for a 16 mile ride. I forgot how hard and long the first hill out was, my legs remembered today.
