Default Rasberry Ketone WARNING

My wife and I watch Dr Oz just about every day. It happens to be on when I am fixing dinner for the two of us. We watched the episode on Rasberry Ketone and my wife wanted to give it a try. I ordered it the same day right after the show was over. It took several weeks to get the RK in, Dr Oz has a way of selling things.

Wife took her first dose on the past Saturday, Sunday she took 1 morning, 1 evening and so forth. Monday she said she felt odd, by Tuesday mid morning she had tremors so bad she could barely walk, extreme anxiety, hot and sweaty. I then began to look up side effects of the RK, which most websites say there are non known. She stopped taking it last night and I did a little more reading into the matter. Come to find out buried in a few web pages is warnings not to take this if you are on Antidepressants, Asthma, Diabetes, CVD, or anxiety meds. It raises your Norepinephrine and your adiponectin. The adiponectin is not the problem its the rise Norepinephrine that causes all the problems.

Today she is still suffering some side effects but they have reduced in intensity. Wondering now how many days it will take for it to clear her system. Not much info on half life of RK.

I don't watch the good doctor. What the heck is Raspberry Ketone, and why would a teevee medico be recommending it (without appropriate warnings)? Yikes! I hope your wife is OK.

That was the scary part, he usually does give warnings, but this time he missed the mark.

I will definitely do my research before I try anything he recommends in the future.

Dr Oz after my wife watched your episode on Rasberry Ketone she was compelled to give this supplement a try. I purchased this supplement for her before I had time to read all of its effects and warnings, there is definitely lack of information available on the internet concerning Rasberry Ketone.

2.5 days after starting this supplement she became very agitated, anxious, with severe tremors to point she could barely walk. I urged her to discontinue taking the Rasberry Ketone until I could find additional information. Most websites say there are no known side effects, but several report not to take this supplement if you have high blood pressure, Diabetes, Asthma, or on antidrepressants. She has all of the above. Today is the first day with out the Rasberry Ketone, but she mistakenly took her antidepressant which hieghtened the symptoms. I have yet to find any information concerning half life of Rasberry Ketone. I am assuming since it is fat soluble that it will take several days for this supplement to clear her system.

Please in the future inform your audience of the risks and possible side effects before promoting supplements.

I left this for him on the Dr Oz contact form on his website.

Was this information not on the package insert?? I don't think RK is well studied. Anyone taking anything and certainly if it is not prescribed by her own health care team should read the packaging that comes with it.

I hope your wife will be okay.

Maybe I missed it, but what was it supposed to do, MCS? If it had worked properly of course.

Gee, that's a scary story...Thanks for sharing it with us...
