Default Glucose Monitor

Does anybody know what the best glucose monitor is in their opinion and why?

I have tried at least six different meters and I have friends who have tried others. They all seem to be about the same. It comes down to your own personal preference. The ones with expensive strips and the ones with much cheaper strips all seem to give very good results. Name brand meters can usually be obtained online by request and without any charge. Google the brand and look at the website for a free meter. The strips for name brand meters are usually very expensive though. If you have to pay for your strips then you can find meters at Walmart and at some drug stores that carry their own brands. The strips there are less than half the price of name brand strips.
