For anyone who has a hard time taking their powder form diabetes pill, there is a new product out called "Vita Carry Advanced Pill Grinder". It is a hard plastic square container the size of an IPOD and it takes 3 AAA batteries and you pop a couple of pills in the front case, replace the lid, you press the go button and presto-pills become powder. You can not grind coated pills or extended release pills. The cost was about $25. I get frequent urinary tract infections with my diabetes and my doctor prescribes the horse pill Bactrim. I can not swallow that pill without gagging to death. I have a hard time with the little pill crushers you grind by hand because of arthritis. Just google Vita Carry and select the website. P.S. Put the powder in applesauce or sugar free pudding and try and enjoy
