Was wondering if anyone has one or have used a Cardio Check Monitor to check blood for all of the cholesterol problems. I'm interested in getting one and was thinking maybe there is a better place to buy one or maybe get one through ADA for a cheaper price. I did find one at Wal-marts for $99. If anyone has used one or has information on one I would appreciate hearing about it.
Thanks ![]() |

Hi Glen:
I've never used one. I get mine checked at my Endo's. Actually, from what I've seen in stores $99.00 is a decent price. Costco doesn't sell them. The lowest price I found on the web was $106.(that's 10% off for March). ![]() And $116.00. I think those are the ST. Ebay only has the $500.00(PO) one. Sorry 'bout that. Maybe someone else knows of a better price. |

Hey Terri,
I wasn't sure if any of the guys here might use them along with the glucose monitors. I have very high cholesterol readings too and wanted to monitor those also. I guess I will be getting it from Wal-marts then. Thanks Glen |

Hey Glen:
Ya, I thought Richard might leave you a message since he's in NY but he hasn't been in today. I doubt if you coud beat Wal-mart's price. I couldn't find one lower. Are you on statins Glen? I just eat a handful of walnuts, a handful of almonds through the day and cod liver oil capsules, of course. I've proven they work for me. YW! Take Care *Terrie* |
