Thumbs up VICTOZA approved by FDA for type 2

On Monday, January 25, 2010 the FDA approved a new GLP-1 drug named Victoza. It is like Byetta and increases beta cells in the pancreas. You take 1 shot per day. It doesn't have to be taken with meals. The new drug does cause nausea but not as much as Byetta.
