Default achy body

New diagnosis of type 2, sofar all the side effects have come and gone, but in the last week, I am achy from head to toe, arms, neck, back legs, espcially at night, it is like "restless body syndrome" I hear this is somewhat common, wondering if anyone else has had these, and will they go away, like the water retention legs, headache, morning rash? I feel like a walking science project

You =are= a walking science project! You are coming down from some impressively crazy numbers, and your body needs time to acclimate to a new way of being. I'm surprised your vision is completely wonky as well - or is it and just low down on the list of mentionables?

It took my body at least a month to settle down and start feeling semi-human - best I can remember.

oh god, I forgot that part, yes, I was Mr. Magoo up until a few days ago, I got out of the hospital, and started reading labels, and in a few days I couldn't see anything, I got my eyes checked, they said to wait a month, but I literally cou'dn't see my phone, a clock clearly, I wore 2.75 readers 24/7, then this last week, I took a little nap, and woke up with my old eyesight back..soooooo weird

The eye blurriness usually takes several months to even out. What meds are you on. Each one may have side effects or interfere with other meds you are on. Also are you on any statin drugs. I found the statin drugs interfered with my metformin and I had that achy feeling all over my body.

Statins are drugs used for lowering cholesterol like Crestor, Lipitor, Prevastatin, etc. They are known to cause severe joint and muscle pain and Fibromyalgia like symptoms.

Yep, it will take a while for the body aches to go away. I'm about six months out now and I'm feeling a TON better. Keep it up!

I smell like a mint tree most of the day, I have tried all the OTC muscle pains things, so far I have found an oil that calms it for a bit, my neighbor gave it to me, it is by DoTerra essential oils, it is a mix of a few oils, wintergreen and others, it mellows it a bit, but I have found that the only time it doesn't ache (arms, chest, upper back) is when I am doing pilates, and while that is a good, I can't do it all day lol, it is slightly going away though, but the "jimmy legs" suck at night time
