Default alka seltzer?

Can diabetics take alka seltzer? I have some heartburn a-brewin' and I'd like to head it off at the pass.

Also, the cowpoke lingo? I don't know why.

I don't take Alka-Seltzer often, but it's never done anything bad to me.

Cowpoke talk just up 'n' pops up around here. Another goldurned symptom!

Alka seltzer has never had any effect on my BS, when I've taken it. I did take a few other OTC drugs & had spikes.

In case anyone's ever curious, Kaopectate has something in it that gives terrible spikes. I was so sick, I never bothered to read the bottle before I took it.
