One simple but vast improvement you could make is to change the date format. As you say on another thread, this is an international forum; but the date format is currently American (mm-dd-yyyy), which I think is used in less than 10% of the world.

It would be a good idea to either change the format to International (yyyy-mm-dd), or display the months as names rather than as numbers. Either one would avoid the ambiguity of such dates as "2/3/2008", which (as you probably know) is 2 March to us in Europe (but 3 February in the Americas).

Odd -- I came here because I'm subscribed to this thread and was informed by email of a post by "suirtyiterakek", but said post seems to have been and gone!

And the bad date formatting still hasn't been corrected, despite the fact that anything country-specific is inappropriate for an international site, especially if it causes other problems such as ambiguity. (I've noticed that I may have made a mistake of my own; I said "the Americas", but I've since heard that some parts of Canada use European format.)

Hi Robert:

In regards to your question about the post by "suirtyiterakek", it has been removed. It had nothing to do with your post or with anything to do on this Forum actually. If on the other hand, you have bad credit and need a loan, I will be Happy to forward the deleted post and links to you.

As far as the date, to my knowledge, that is the one that was included in the program which is used here. I shall check it again to make sure, for you.

Ah, one of those posts. I don't need that information, but if anyone reading this needs Viagra or Cialis (whatever that is) or a university degree (no studying needed), I have plenty of stuff I could forward to them. On the other hand, chances are they've received it already.

I'm evidently lacking. I haven't seen any in a long time. I feel neglected.
Oh well....onward and upward. Have a Good day Robert.

You must be Very observant Robert. I didn't notice the date problem. Just now, I randomly picked out 3 bills from our stash . All are Canadian companies. I noticed ALL 3 bills had different dating formats.

1. 2008-08-14
2. 05-AUG-08
3. August 28, 2008

Hmmmm...The rest of the world obviously confuses us. I grew up learning the 3rd format and will always use that one.

Thanks.
