Current meds
Humalog 3x per day + correction
Lantus 2x per day (morning and night)
Lithium carbonate 2x per day 150mg each
Atenolol as needed 25 mg each

Your experiences with diabetes:: I am Type 1 diabetic. I have been since October 2, 2000. I was 16 years old. It was my junior year of high school the week of homecoming. I haven't had too many positives when it comes to my diabetes. I have had three episodes of DKA and they still haven't gotten it under control even with my frequent blood testing and carb counting. Its not that the medication doesn't work it works well but it doesn't keep it regulated. Currently I am on Humalog and Lantus. 3 shots of Humalog per day + possible correction dosages. 30 units morning and 34 units night.
