- I have been T1 since 1964, I work part time, enjoy time with my three grandchildren and family, enjoy being outside at my country home. I have been using the Animas 1250 pump since 11/06 and the Dexcom 7 CGMS since 02/08.

- I have never allowed diabetes to control my life. I have always done whatever I want, including travel and camping. We just cannot let it control us. My sugars have always been hard to control, but since wearing the Dexcom I am seeing much more even numbers.
