Hey Again Samm:

I've never had a problem with the pen itself but I did have an occasional
problem with a few of the tips that fit on them. I used to just toss
them and had better luck with the next one. If you have problems with
the pen either phone the company(toll free)or take it back where you got
it and they should send/give you another one or coupon if it's a manufacture defect/bad lot.

You should always keep a vial of fast-acting Insulin plus syringes, just
in case. Having a vial of long-acting is helpful also when you need it.

Ya, hypos can be scary alright but keep your eyes and ears open and eventually you will learn to understand Diabetes and how it and food,
exercise, Insulin doseage, etc. affects you personally. It takes some
People years but they eventually find the treatment routine that fits
them.
