Default Cataracts age 35

The doctor told me I had the start of Cataracts. He said I need to check for diabetes. Last year my blood sugar was 75 fasting.. Would I have had to have diabetes for a while to get cataracts or does cataracts come on quickly if you just developed diabetes?

Most people who have cataracts do not have diabetes. Diabetics are more likely to have them but many diabetics do not get them. I had diabetes about 50 years befor I had cataracts. My surgeries, were simple and there was no problem at all. It is done as an outpatient surgery, then my wife drove me home.

Your cataracts appearing at your younger age may not be due to your diabetes.

Thanks,

I just wonder how else I would get them at my age. Everything online and what the doctor said is due to diabetes. My worry is I have had diabetes a long time but it hasn't shown up in blood tests since they are all fasting. I do get tired when I eat refined sugar and also pee alot but never had problems with being tired and I do exercise 5 days a week.

Look up Manuka Honey and cataracts. It has been shown to moisten the eyes and remove cataracts. I have put this honey in my eyes to cure an infection. You need to place the thick Manuka Honey on the inside of you eyelid. There is only a little discomfort for a short period of time.
