make and bring some optimist crakers, cheese, peporoni, I like to make several small low carb tortilla Pizzas, they pack flat and can stand not being refridgerated far a day or so. Pork rinds and nuts to snack on durring the drive. I will even bring my a flavor extract and some splenda to put in club soda for a drink. (my favorite is mint, got hooked on it living in Germany)

OMG, I know how THAT feels. My hubby eats lunch at noon and doesn't have a problem going until 7:30 at night without eating. He recently had a screening colonoscopy and wasn't bothered at all by the day of liquids-only or the fast the day of the procedure!

I keep cheese sticks in my pocketbook anytime I'm with him. Yeah, they get a little warm, but I've never had an issue with them. I also keep one of those snack-sized zip bags filled with nuts.

I usually drink my coffee black, but if I'm drinking flavored or decaf, I put cream in it. Sometimes that makes me feel full, sometimes it doesn't, but if you can get him to stop regularly for a "pit stop", that might help.
