Default protein supplement

About 2 days after my dx I found that I I'm.hardly ever hungry. I know I need to eat but sometimes I find that I can't even force myself to eat. I was told by a friend to try protein shakes. Well I went to multiple stores looking and I'm lost. They all seem to have so many carbs and sugar. Does anyone have any suggestions on this? Is it something I should keep.searching for ? Should I leave it alone ans.not mess with? If it's ok then what is a good brand that will be ok for me to use?
And if so how should I go about making it?
Thanks in advance and sorry for so many questions.

I use designer whey, sometimes. I found the cheaper ones spike my blood sugar.

When I thought I could afford it I used Monster Milk.

I got it at swanson.

CytoSport Monster Milk Chocolate 2.06 lbs Pwdr - Swanson Health Products

It was expensive but I needed the predigested protein.

I'm allergic to whey, so I use Gold Standard Egg White from Netrition which has 4 carbs...I like it in the Chocolate flavor altho' the egg custard flavor is good too.

Thanks I'll check it out. But I'm not looking to put weight on.. I need to drop about 30 to get to my ideal weight.

Maybe I misunderstood what I had been told about this protein powder....I had been told to use it as a supplement on the days I didn't feel like eating (I find myself going all day sometimes not even being hungry since starting my meds.) i for sure don't want to gain.

Ok so in my little twin there is not much to pick from. Out of frustration after today once again not being hungry....I've been up since 545 am and I have still not eaten food, and I'm not hungry....I went to town and got some Designer Whey protein powder.
100 cal a serving
2g fat (is that too low?)
6g carb (is that too high?)
.5 dietary fiber
2g sugar(is that ok?)
Protein 18g

Plus all kinds of other vitamins and stuff. ...

Will this be ok to use?

I know I need something on days like today which I'm having a lot of lately. I'm just not hungry and if I try to make myself eat I feel like crap....
