Default 250+ grams of carbs for protein shake

I've been taking Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass, it's a weight gainer:

Calories per serving: 1,250
Grams of protein: 50
Grams of carbs: 250+
Vitamins and minerals: 25

What would be ideal 1 hr and 2hr glucose range after drinking this shake?

Amazon.com: Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass, Chocolate, 12 Pound: Health & Personal Care

Edit: I just noticed the package has a warning: "Diabetics and Hypoglycemics, consult a physician before using this product."

No DUH!!! That would be stretching my carb limit on a Beatles (Eight days week) week. I guess they recommend two servings per day?

Holy MAMA! I had no idea any such product existed!!! Oh, my laundry, I would be in dka.

That looks like something marketed to middle school boys, out of the back of comic books!

I'm stuck with an entire bag of this stuff. My numbers were normal from a few hours ago. So I'll continue you take it and continue testing to see if I see a spike.

I just ordered Nature's Best Zero Carb to replace what I have no. For extra calories I plan to use creme and flax seed oil.

Donate that ... to a trash collector or something! How long have you used it? Are we sure you are pre-diabetic, without it?

I would be in a coma if I drank that (right before I get my head examined). My advice (worth less than two cents), stay skinny. God made you that way. Don't mess with perfection.

You sure you got that right? 250 gr is 9 oz in just carbs plus 2 oz of protien plus whatever you mix it in. That is going to weigh a lot, like a 16 oz glass of that stuff is going to weigh almost 2 Lb.

That one serving would last me 12 days.
I read "Nutrition" labels before I by something.

I'm still not getting why you're trying to gain weight. You're lean, but not too lean, and I think you said you aren't losing weight intentionally or otherwise. Who or what is urging you to use a product such as this that is basically sugar in a glass? The primary ingredient is maltodextrin - that should tell you something.

That is an insane amount of carbs! Yeee! I would estimate that many carbs would send me over 200+.
