I am sometimes too "harsh". I feel that sometimes one must be "harsh" to get the point across.

tonight is chicken stir fry with pak choy, carrot, zucchini, red & green capsicum(bell pepper), ginger, garlic, chilli, corriander - served on basmati rice.

Found some spelt sourdough bread too and it seems to be good on my BGLs.

I should add a siggy, but I'm 7 months pregnant and on glyburide. So my dietary needs are much more, and if I don't have carbs, I crash - as you can see from having 45-60g carbs and my number is still 84.

I've been eating this meal plan since I found out I was pg, and have lost 20lbs over the course of the pregnancy. It IS a ton of food, 6 meals a day... but I'm growing another person

I'm making french onion soup for dinner tonight. Bought some gruyere to try for the cheese, and the crusty french bread is calling my name! LOL Will have a big salad (maybe, I'm out of the salad dressing I like, might just have more raw veg), and some fruit and milk with it.

I love reading this thread..I get the best ideas from you guys! I had egg drop soup and an egg roll for dinner last night. (It was one of those I-have-too-much-homework-to-cook nights) No idea what to have tonight though.

Our dinner was beef liver, breaded with Brandi's Breading, and smothered with bacon & onions. S/F Jello was dessert . . . I had mashed green bananas too.

Tonight was fancy-schmanzy.... I ate a sammich. Turkey, Ham and Swiss on Low-GI bread with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato and fresh ground black pepper.

And a supersized piece of cheescake (substituted splenda for sugar) with fruit topping.

Ended up a 9.0 (162) one-and-a-half hours later... Which I fixed with exercise.

Meatloaf (grass fed ground sirloin), 2/3 cup mashed potatoes, 1 cup steamed broc and cauliflower, 8oz milk. Somehow we're out of fruit! So I skipped it tonight. Hopefully the missing carbs doesn't make me go too low.
