I had stuffed peppers (2), made with very little brown rice and my sugar only went to 147. Not bad, huh? I used to make them with lots of white rice - well, I don't have to tell you what THAT did to my sugar.

Grilled sirloin steak, salad, broccoli with melted butter for dipping. The best thing was the steamed cauliflower with butter and red wine vinegar. It was awesome.

I would not be happy with 147, but I fixed stuffed peppers without ANY rice, and I can barely get a taste of 'em myself because my everlovin' is so ape over them!

Just used a 1:1 mixture of ground chuck & sage sausage, along with minced onion, grated cheddar cheese & a coupla eggs. I think this is a take-off from an Atkins recipe which called for chorizo, but we like this one much better.

We had grilled roast beef sandwiches on MCS's Yeast Bread & they were awesome! I had another bowl of Daytona's ketogenic yogurt with cranberries for dessert - what a great meal!

I had last night, a pot of chicken soup with japanese veggie medley, sausage, and shrimp, gumbo with out the rice. That cheese bread came in real handy though.
