Default major trend change

It's becoming clear to me, after 35 years of worrying about cholesterol, saturated fats, statins, etc., that chronically high and spiking BG, caused by carbs, will (should) be the new health concern of nearly everybody as there are tons of preD people walking around thinking they're not as risk.
I would expect the ADA will have to (should) lower their "normal" A1c to at least 5.5% with a goal of 5.0%.
This would solve our nation's epidemic obesity problem and might reduce myriad other health problems, i.e. Alzheimer's disease, other dementias, cardiovascular disease, etc., etc.
I agree, skb, big pharma may have its place and does a lot of good but it is also one of our major obstacles.
