Well I am now the wiser and the understanding of not chasing the bolus insulin and that kitchen scales but I don't mind, As long that I know how much that there is in Carbohydrates.
Oh well, I have to start somewhere.

Thankyou Richard, It's time to be tolerant now and also be level with everyone and as far the diet goes Christmas is only once a year and just have enough Bolus for that cake. & the Ham, Turkey & Other nice Christmas food too.

Default Holidays

I have had 63 Thanksgivings and 63 Christmases with diabetes. It is all one big fat blurr!! No, I am NOT Scrooge, I am just missing the holidays back when our kids were at home and there was so much fun. Now the holidays are just another day. Ho Hum! My wife will prepare great food though. I promise to eat small portions. You do trust me don't you

Richard

If there is anything that I can gather, Thanksgiving sounds like a feast for the eyes Meg but anyway Bolus in due course and enjoy.

Happy Thanksgiving.

A1c is a percentage, no units are involved. This makes it the same thing in all parts of the world.

I limit my carbohydrates to an average of 80 a day. This has served me well, I lost 35 lbs over 8 months and have kept it off for another year, so far.
