Default Do you ever order a pizza,.....

....and then just eat the toppings? And throw away the crust? Sounds like an idea to me!

Well, there's another one over here who has no compunctions about eating my crusts! But yeah, order the thinnest crust possible & then throw it out!

Or if you ever do any cooking yourself, just make this Pizza Topping Casserole, using whatever your favorite toppings are.

Awesome! And that recipe does look good too, I will be trying that! Thanks Shanny. I do cook for myself, when I have to, which is always

Shanny's right. At work every Saturday they order lunch ,one week subs and the next pizza, I just put the filling/toppings on a plate ,discarding bun or crust. My BG stays in line that way. I tell anyone who questions me that carbs don't like me so I avoid them.

Ian, I do just that…a local eatery has a lunch all you can eat buffet and now and then I go by there and eat my fill of their pizza and salad with no guilt at all.

Go for it!

I have a pizza sitting on the counter rite now... I find they do very little to my BG. why?

I get a thin crust meat lovers, then I have them add onion, mushroom, pepper and then cover with extra cheese...... MMMmmmm, there is so much stuff that the crust ends up being so little of the meal that my BG goes up 15 points for 4 or 5 hours and thats it.

Does any one else eat LOADED pizzas or do you only eat plane Cheese or pepperoni pizzas and have BG spikes.

Not me. Wheat is too much of a trigger for me, so I'm a scraper-off-'er.

But a pile of meats with melted cheese in any form? With or without a sauce? I'm ALLL THERE.
