Shottlebop, we're neighbors, San Diego. I think what you're doing here is fantastic and after reading the thread it's very inspiring to me. It gives me great ideas about what to eat and you're doing great with your numbers. Just a quick question though; I love vodka and don't let myself indulge but wonder where you get your cinnamon vodka. Now since we live close by each other, I'm guessing that I'll be able to find it in my area or at least I hope so. Keep up the good work in your diet.

I make it: 1 1.75-liter bottle vodka (we buy the Kirkland premium vodka), then dump in 8 or 9 sticks of cinnamon (we buy ours at Smart & Final) (you have to pour out a little of the vodka to make room for the cinnamon). Let steep for a week or so. It takes on a lovely reddish-gold color, and smells like a Cinnabon. I leave the cinnamon sticks in.

Cool, thank you for the info! I may be enjoying a vodka soon with cinnamon. Of course I go to Smart and Final and for sure Costco is a regular place that I frequent. I live in East County. So I'd go to the El Cajon Smart and Final.
