I find it interesting that one can eat most foods which I've been depriving myself.

Rolaids and others, quantity eaten is not a problem usually. Keeping carbs to a bare minimum allows one to eat as much as they want. Just need to be careful not to ingest too much protein, the excess can be converted to glycogen, stored and later released as glucose by the liver. Cutting carbs and increasing healthy fats is what LCHF is all about. You can eat to satiety, just don't gorge.

That's the hard part "Keeping carbs to a bare minimum", everything seems to have it.

Two eggs scrambled and covered with melted cheddar and salsa, 4 slices of bacon, a cup of Daytona's Keto-yogurt, and a mug of bulletproof style coffee.

4 small LC Crackers, spread liberally with bacon grease and topped with a slice of non-dairy "cheese". Extra bacon grease, salted, on a spoon (I've gotten used to eating fat this way - much like others eat butter (which I can't eat).

I'm eating small amounts today because my stomach is in it's slow-emptying mode.

Hi, I know this is a post from a few years ago, but I was wondering if
you still use it. I have egg beaters with 1tbs of flax, 1/2 Avacodo, a tbs of blueberries. I eat at 6am.. My reading at noon are close to 200. I can't understand it. Any suggestions. Am I eating to little? Thank you for any input. Sam

Hi,
I know this was posted years ago, but your A1C's are so good. I eat at 6am eating egg beaters, 1/2 avocado, and 1tbs of blueberries. I eat a piece cheese at 9am. At noon my readings are near 200. Are you reading still very good? Thank you for any input. Sam
