Shanny,
I am surprized you use a 'political term' like "Right Wing"! Why not say radical wing or religious zealots or whatever. Some would say I am right wing, yet I am not a religious zealot, nor to I think religion should be used to govern!

How about y'all?
Patdart....these are the same idiots who over the years have told us not to eat apples, milk products, animal fats, etc. etc. I learned a long time ago that they are politically motivated and not scientific in their work. If you read/listen to their press language they use many 'qualifiers' like "it seems", or "it appears" as example. These, of course, are not scientific terms!

I'm sorry you are offended by my choice of words, Carl. I'm fairly conservative on some issues myself, but I don't try to foist my beliefs on others.

It's not just the right wing. There's a big push on to discourage meat-eating. It seems the push will only get harder and it comes from many sources.

Shyam's situation is extreme (and horrid), but there are many "softer" ways to make things tougher to get, or altogether inaccessible.
