Breakfast: avocado, Amylu Andouille chicken sausage, coffeew with half & half

10:45 AM (before lunch): 106
Lunch (at the airport, waiting for my plane): 1/4-lb burger (no bun) with lettuce, tomato, two onion rings, bacon, cheddar; 3 french fries, coffee

8:18 PM (before dinner): 86
Dinner (finally at the hotel in Monterey, split a room-service burger with Mrs. S): 1/4-lb burger (no bun), with lettuce, tomato, sliced red onion, bacon, pepperjack; side salad (lettuce, two black olives, bleu cheese dressing)


Average for the day:

Macronutrients: 39 grams carbs (16 grams fiber), 121 grams fat, 85 grams protein

7:00 AM (breakfast, at my conference): scrambled eggs, two sausage links, 5 slices bacon, coffee

Lunch: bunless cheeseburger (grassfed), lettuce, tomato, onion, innards of tempura-battered cauliflower "buffalo" wings, dip, vinegar-based coleslaw

6:07 PM (at a reunion of employees of a prior employer that went out of business in 2008 (at The Irish Bank in downtown SF): 105 (probably more carbs in that coleslaw than I thought; or the stress of driving 2+ hours in Bay Area traffic on a Friday afternoon did a number on my BGs)
Snack: 2 drinks (rye on the rocks)

11:11 PM (back at the hotel in Monterey) (before dinner): 88
Dinner: Lemon Matcha Dang That's Good! bar

Average for the day: 97

Macronutrients: 36 grams carbs (12 grams fiber), 113 grams fat, 82 grams protein

Breakfast: 2 eggs scranbled with mushrooms and basil walnut pesto, 2 large breakfast sausages, coffee

5:54 PM (before snack): 78
Snack: 2 squares Ghirardelli 92% midnight mystique

8:30 PM (back home, before dinner): 75
Dinner: salmon patty, 2 tbsp. Don Pancho's cilantro lime crema, lettuce, low-carb salted caramel ice cream, whipped cream, 1/4 cup unsalted mixed nuts.
10:12 PM: 106

Average for the day: 92

Macronutrients: 47 grams carbs (18 grams fiber), 131 grams fat, 57 grams protein

Breakfast: avocado, 1/2 cup (in-shell) salt-and-pepper pistachios, 1/4 bar Montezuma's Absolute Chocolate, coffee

10:30 AM (snack): almond pancakes with whipped cream (1/2 cup almond flour, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup half & half, 1/2 cup whipped cream), coffee with 1 oz. whipped cream (half & half was sour, so we used it for the pancakes, so I used whipped cream for the coffee, too)

12:15 PM (snack): 2 oz. cinnamon vodka

1:58 PM (before lunch): 97
Lunch: Carbmaster black forest cake yogurt, 2 slices medium cheddar (21 grams ea.), 1/4 cup unsalted mixed nuts

5:18 PM (before dinner): 85
Dinner: Louisiana hot, 1 cup spaghetti squash with basil pesto, TJ's cheesecake (no crust), 7 TJ's frozen cherries
8:44 PM: 104

Average for the day: 95

Dinner: grilled London broil, 1 slice grilled zucchini, 1/4 cup Kirkland super extra large peanuts, coffee with heavy cream, Smirnoff spiked & sparkling seltzer water

Average for the day: 105 (Too many carbs yesterday)
