Stats for the past two years (Columns record: Avg BG/Avg FBG/Low/High/% > 110/No. Days < 100)

I think a lot of the increase over the past year has been due to stress. Last October, our oldest daughter told us of her plans to move to India for a couple of years, and we started planning to move into her house--her childhood home, with tons of deferred maintenance. That was one source of stress. Work has been another. (Not bad working conditions, but the transactions have been more intense.) Hoping to get things back on a more even keel in the coming months.

Figure I would post what I ate yesterday. I don't know, I get the impression I don't eat very much compared to most people, however my weight and waist dimensions are right on target so I don't worry about it ... I've been eating this way for years. The only time my BGs spike high is when I deviate from the normal routine - like eating things I shouldn't.

One thing I noticed - I don't drink milk other than what I put in my Tea or Coffee, but I do eat a lot of cheese. I just didn't do so yesterday.

I don't know if this is considered LCHF - but it works for me.

Breakfast - 1 cup of coffee with 2 milk in coffee (skim)

Mid Morning - 2 handfuls of Pistachios in the shell, 1 cup of coffee with 2 milk in coffee (skim)

Lunch - Spinach Salad, 1 cup of coffee with 2 milk in coffee

Mid afternoon - handful of pistachios and 1 cup of tea with 2 milk in Tea

Evening Dinner - 8 oz steak, mushrooms, green Peas

Post Evening Dinner - 1 glass of dry red wine
