Default coconut instead of coconut oil ?

Hi

i didn't find coconut oil in my city. can i have coconut instead of coconut oil .

Thanks in advance
29 years old male..
dx type 2 in nov 2011..
Metformin 500mg twice a day
Gliclazide 80 mg twice a day
Acarbose 25 mg twice a day
Multi vit twice a day
Pregabalin 75 mg at bed time
diet=low carb high protein
exercise= 1 hour walk daily
last a1c = 6.3

Yes you can, but keep in mind the whole coconut does have some (non-fiber) carbs.

The coconut oil you are looking for is the cold-pressed virgin type. Can you buy it online, there?

The benefit from Coconut Oil can also come from canned coconut milk. Make sure it is unsweetened, but it will still have some carbs. Most of us buy our Coconut oil online. Try Vitacost, Swanson's Vitamins, Netrition or Amazon.

yes there is an american company in Nepal which only imports goods from US. I guess it will be more costly as shipment cost is based on weight but i'll order some and give it a try.
