Sometimes, it can be challenging to come up with low-carb ideas for lunch, so what are you having for lunch?

Please feel free to share a picture if you would like to do so!

We had a great stir-fry today! It included a bag of frozen shrimp scampi, frozen cauliflower rice, a bag of spinach, fresh mushrooms and a generous amount of G. Hughes Stir-fry Sauce. It was the first time I've had the Stir-fry Sauce--it was great! The sauce is 1g per TBSP and there are about 20 servings in the bottle. I didn't measure:)

I've used his BBQ sauces, honey mustard, and ketchup. Makes more stuff I haven't tried. So far it has all been good.

I tried the BBQ sauce and it was tasty but I didn't care for the texture. Since I'm not used to eating BBQ sauce any more it's no biggie to have finished the bottle and not replaced it. But, then, I'm off ketchup, too, to the point where a keto-friendly ketchup probably wouldn't taste right to me either.

I'm having chicken broth and Jello. It's my liquid diet day in preparation for tomorrow's colonoscopy.

Your good wishes are gratefully accepted. Doctor removed 3 polyps and is sending them off for biopsy. Fingers crossed!
Was happy to eat rotisserie chicken and have my first cup of coffee for lunch.

Great minds...! I had the Tyson strips for dinner with raw broccoli florets and some ranch yogurt dressing.

ObLunch: leftover pork spare rib and a slice of cheddar cheese (watching one of the young'uns play in the softball championship for her city).

A ham and pimento cheese wrap, pork rinds, and a pickle. Chasing it down with a glass of buttermilk, the Bulgarian full fat version.

My favorite pork rinds are Mac's Salt and Pepper. Saw a new Mac's Ghost Pepper flavor and had to try them. They are a little warm. They are good, but I probably won't just grab that bag for a quick snack by themselves.

Wish we could buy Mac's more often up here. Aldi has them on special sometimes, maybe Big Lots, too. But it's not a regular brand up here.

ObLunch: Aldi Düsseldorf Mustard wiener in an egg wrap. Not very hungry; not a lot of time.

We're getting our first Aldi's soon. I'm looking forward to finding out what they're all about.

Lunch: cheese omelet with a couple of sausage patties.

Lots of stuff that's good for low-carb/keto. Keto bread, bagels (though the modified food starch they use still can spike BG levels), some keto-friendly desserts/snacks/crackers, lots of cheeses, meat sticks/jerky, and, of course, meat and vegetables suitable for low-carbing. Bring a quarter with you to rent a. cart (you get it back at the end) and your own bags (or you'll have to buy some or scrounge an empty box).

Went and had a pedicure today, second one. Mainly to let them rasp on the callouses on the sides of my big toes, but the rest of it felt pretty good too. The lady doing it got a kick, almost literally, of my leg jerking when she hit a tickle spot, I had to grab my leg and hold it down.

Afterwards went and ate lunch at On The Border. Had a Guacamole Live (make it at the table), a couple of things off of BH's sampler plate, and a few chips with the salsa.

I met friends at my favorite BBQ place yesterday. The first time I went I quizzed them on what had sugar in it--the beans and sauce only. Some places put sugar in the vegetable sides! I was impressed with the way they answered my questions. I had dry pulled beef topped with dry slaw and sides of green beans and greens. Excellent and didn't do my BG wrong.

The time I figured out I could order ribs "dry" was a revelation.

The first time I tried "keto barbecue sauce" also was a revelation, but not a good one. Maybe I'll try another brand (if there is one).

Maybe we could make our own BBQ sauce and put our 3 avatars on the label.

Morning 5th-6th grade football game. Ate in town after the game, first time to eat at the new Chicken Express. Wasn't bad, ! fish fillet, 2 chicken tenders, hush puppies, cole slaw. Didn't test when we got home.
