Baked chicken livers, broccoli heated in the microwave with butter, a salad, and hibiscus tea.

My breakfast is at 3 PM when I'm working graveyard shift.

Great ideas to mix up my breakfast routine. I usually eat turkey slices with avocado or boiled eggs when I have them handy. Lately, I just haven't been feeling the boiled eggs.

This morning, I scrambled 2 eggs in coconut oil, and I squirted some ketchup. I know I know, not the best, but's it's low in sodium/carbs/sugar. I can't remember the brand, maybe Heinz.

Big cup of coffee with a half cup of whole unpasteurized goat milk. An egg from my backyard chickens fried in coconut oil or butter. Butter is really the best for frying eggs as they don't stick at all.

I need to look up the various turbocharged coffee recipes to see what else I could be adding in.

Many mornings I'll saute' some baby kale or spinach with my eggs.

This morning I had some goat milk kefir with black currants and stevia.

Just ran out of bacon .....

I don't eat breakfast so 1 cup of coffee with 1 tablespoon of milk - no sugar or sweetener (I've fallen in to the habit of fasting from 11 pm to Noon every day. It sure makes the mornings easier ....

Link breakfast sausage (fried in plenty of bacon grease) and left-over cooked cabbage. A small piece of http://www.diabetesforum.com/diabete...cornbread.html spread with palm-oil shortening* and topped with zero-carb strawberry spread.*

*I use the shortening in place of butter because I can't eat dairy. The strawberry spread is from Walden Farms.

I should be having breakfast so the gym makes muscle but its always "tomorrow I will do better."

Three fried eggs, two slices of bacon, one cup of coffee. The coffee is a 14 ounce mug of coffee (Community Brand with Chicory), 2 scoops of pure stevia powder, 1 tablespoon of cacao powder, 1 tablespoon of collagen gelatin powder, 4 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream, 1 tablespoon of butter, 1 heaping tablespoon of coconut oil, and I just started adding 2 tablespoons of MCT oil.

I'm not a "low carb" fan. In the morning, I want a carb fix, especially during hot summer weather.
This morning, I had a few bites of watermelon, 3 strawberries, a peach & cottage cheese, along with 8 units Humalog & 5 minutes elliptical.
I'm fine with that since at the 2-hr. mark, I was at 107. I was expecting a much higher number.
