Sometimes it can be challenging to come up with low carb ideas for breakfast, so what are you having for breakfast today?

Please feel free to share a picture if you would like to do so!

For some reason, I am not even close to hungry in the morning, but for me, I need to "break my fast" and I need some energy to start my day.

I tend to turn to my own version of bulletproof coffee to do so. That is what I had this morning.

  • 1 cup of strong coffee.
  • 1 spoonful of high quality coconut oil.
  • 1 tsp of butter. (I use Kerrygold unsalted)
  • 2 spoonfuls of heavy whipping cream.
  • 1 spoonful of granulated Splenda
  • 1 tsp Ceylon Cinnamon (I get it at whole foods.)

Caution: For those of you who may be concerned with calories, this is NOT a low calorie coffee, but it is oh so yummy and it has zero carbs.

Having steak and eggs at 3 PM for breakfast. Having a salad and a bullet proof coffee to go with that. I am working 12 hour graveyard shift. Over 2 weeks down, a little less than 1 to go.

Oh my gosh that looks yummy. I am definitely planning that for dinner now.

(I have always preferred breakfast for dinner)

Cheese crust pizza, some guacamole, and a salad with some craisens in it. A cup of bulletproof coffee and a glass of hibiscus tea.

Avocado, on top of which I have soft poached or fried eggs (2) and fried bacon and onion. Its yum, and fairly low carb, and I wont get hungry for hours.

I usually have 3 eggs, a couple patties of sausage cut up in them and sometimes a few pieces of hash brown for carbs.

Welcome to the community Contra.

This thread is referring to low carb breakfasts. Hash browns would definitely not be considered low carb.
