Coconut Flour vs. Almond Flour

I read an interesting article about Coconut Flour vs. Almond Flour.

Do you have a preference?

That really is interesting, and I'll follow her recipes and try a couple.

My preference has been a default one, due to more recipes for almond flour, how dry coconut flour is (add more liquid/moisture, dummy!), and a perception that coconut flour would be more devastating carb-wise. But, since one needs so much less, seems that becomes immaterial.

Coconut flour is way too dry for my throat if there's more than a couple tablespoons in a recipe. I tried a 100% coconut flour bread one time - uggh - could barely get the bites to go down it was so dry.

However, a small amount does improve the texture of almond flour baked things, so I keep it around for this.

Thanks for the link! I usually use almond flour, but I'm ready to give coconut flour a try.
