Coconut oil and even a spoonful of plain cocoa powder in black coffee is good; adding cream makes it even better. You can use other spices, too, such as cinnamon and/or nutmeg, or vanilla.

At home, I drink water, green tea, hibiscus tea, coffee, an occasional flavored water, and an occasional low carb beer. The coffee and teas I sweeten with pure stevia powder. The coffee also includes a tablespoon of cacao powder, 4 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream, a tablespoon of butter, and a heavy heaping tablespoon of coconut oil.

When eating out, it is unsweet tea or water, lemon with both.

There are stevia sweetened soft drinks. I have tried the Dr. Zevia (a Dr Pepper/Mr. Pibb) but didn't really get a wow out of it. Zevia makes other flavors and I'll try them eventually, I might find one I like.

Sometimes I have honey and lemon in water; however, I know some folks just can't do honey. That could possibly be linked to the sad fact that it is legal for stuff to be labeled and sold as 'honey' when it's actually far more HFCS or other sugar than any honey at all. (Think those packets of 'honey' in fast food chains and 'honey' in little plastic bears...ya have to be suspicious/paranoid about honey, so I always buy raw and preferably unfiltered or lightly filtered real honey. This honey/lemon drink is very refreshing. But then, I also like ACV/honey, too, hot or cold depending on the weather. Lime juice/honey in water is great.
