I saw you post and wanted to ask....My number 1 breakfast is Greek Yogurt! I eat versions that have between 7g up to 15g of Total Carbs! My question is why did you stop eating these Yogurts?

Because my total daily carb intake is 25-30 grams a day, I don't want to spend a third to a half of that total on one container of yogurt. In addition, my body and my Dawn Phenomenon seem to do better with a very-low-carb breakfast. If my body could handle more carbs, different story. It's all what works for each of us, right?

I've read of folks mixing Greek yoghurt 50/50 with heavy whipping cream, thus reducing the carbs per portion.

There is a Walden Farms "spread" that is fruit flavored that has zero calories/carbs (sweetened with sucrulose) that, cut up in small pieces could act as fruit. (The label says "spread" but it is actually more like a firm gel - good though).

(I would do this for sure if it weren't for having dairy sensitivity.)

Having been visiting for the last decade a low-carb forum and then a couple diabetes forums - I've accumulated a lot of info. Glad to pass it on now and then.

I recommend using Daytona's "Keto Yogurt" recipe, you can play with the flavors and find something you like best. But if you do come up with something, you have to share it with us in the recipe threads.
