Default Weight gain ideas?

Im trying to put the weight back on that I lost before I was diagnosed but I am finding it difficult to find tje correct foods. I have found a protein shake called Myolight which is suitable for Type 1 but I was hoping someone out there could recommend some natural weight gain foods that are suitable for us. Im finding it hard to exercise to the same intensity as I was before the diagnosis so need a bit of extra help

What about adding more fat to your diet? It should give you more energy as well as add a few pounds if you'd like. I mean good fats...saturated ones. Would coconut oil fudge help?

Default Nuts!

Do add some of your favorite nuts to your diet. I had to stop eating cashews because they caused some weight gain for me (mostly because it was hard to control the portion they are so darn good lol). I think some healthy fat is a good idea, and don't forget fresh fruit. I maintain my weight eating fresh and natural foods. I have plenty of energy, no trouble getting up and out for exercise, and no problems managing my T1 diabetes.

Are your bgs in a good range, now. If they are still running high it may be hard to put weight on. What meds or insulins are you on? Once you lower your bgs into a normal range 70-100, your endocrine system should work more efficiently and you will be able to gain weight again.

I second the nuts.

Those almond meal/flaxseed meal muffins are guaranteed to put on weight if I eat too many. So for you, well, eat as many as you like.

My bgs have been goid since i was diagnosed but recently i had sinusitus and i was struggling to get them down. My average for the past 7 days is now 5.1 and i feel much better. Im currently on Insulutard insulin before my breakfast and tea. Would changing to a fast acting insulin before each meal help with the weight gain?
I like the sound of adding muffins and more nuts to my diet. Any more ideas will also be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

I tried all possible ways to gain weight when i was on oral med but it was all waste of time and money.then i switched to fast acting insulin which made drastic changes in my BG and i gained 2 kg weight in almost 15 to 20 days.
i just got lab result on which my HBA1C is 4.6.
