Default What's on the menu for Easter dinner?

These are my plans:

A roasted chicken from the grocery store (keeping it simply)
Sage dressing (using this bread recipe and seasoning liberally with poultry seasoning
https://www.diabetesforum.com/diabet...cornbread.html
Butternut squash (I'll have a bite or two)
Green beans
Fruit salad (I'll have a bite or two of this also) (apple, plum, pecans sweetened with a SF cinnamon/brown sugar flavored syrup

I'm buying the chicken today, will debone and refrigerate, and make broth from the carcass, which I'll use to make some gravy.

So... what are you all having?

We will likely have ham - freshly butchered from one of the local hog farmers along with some hot mustard. As far as veggies go - probably asparagus.

Brunch at a country club (to which I do not belong ). I'm guessing there will be something I can eat on the menu. Eggs if nothing else. But I think there will be more than that.

I guessed right - ham - we slowly cooked it over our wood burning air tight for the whole day. Instead of aspargus we had spinach for a veggie.

I stayed away from chocolate sweets and bad carbs although I did partake in the liquid variety .....
