I just read this and think many who are questioning low carb/high fat would be interesting in it...

That is a fantastic story, Pat. Thanks for sharing. The ADA will never change. We can show them all the success stories in the world and they will find a reason not to believe them. Their fall back postition always seems to be that people won't stick with LC for a long period of time. So I guess eating higher carb diets, having higher bgs and HbA1c's and possilby more D complications is a better solution. I really don't get why they would want D's to use more meds and insulin just to be able to have their junk food.

moderate exercise- mostly walking 3-5 miles, tennis - 4 hours per week, weight training, hiking on weekends and vacations 7-10 miles
