Default Rice Bran Oil

Dr Oz strikes again. Not sure what to make of this, it does have a pretty good distribution of sat fat, mufa, pufa, omega 6/3.

Sorry this is off topic, but you have me ROFL. I just noticed your stats say you were diagnosed in 1565. Proof positive that diabetics can live a long life.

I skimmed over the article. It surely is the best oil ever produced and has more health benefits than any other oil... according to the author.

Oh, and it's good for your skin, improves your immune system, and increases insulin sensitivity in T2 diabetics.

A curious statment is made that the oil is not absorbed as well as other oils, and therefore, they say it is a "low fat" oil. And, therefore, it is heart-healthy!

Well, I don't believe everything I read. And it still has high (42%) PUFAs.

This statement alone is enough for me to take what they say with a grain of ..... rice?

I think I'll just stick to my CO for now...don't want to try introducing too many different oils. I do quite well with CO and EVOO.

Oh, and Marty, you know if you stayed AWAY from the diabetics you probably would be okay. From what I hear, the blood is rather sweet tasting HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
