That is very interesting. Since we have high deductible we don't have a co-pay or rather to say our co-pay is 100%. So I always get the $4 generic price . Actually in our pharmacy they offer 5 diabetes drugs for free. You can't beat free. I have never thought there might be a copay involved for some people. I love the way they make money off sick people. I did stop buying my diabetes strips from my pharmacy about 4 years ago when I realised what a rip off it was.

Next time I refill my prescription I'm going to ask what it costs without insurance. Though at $8/month it's not that bad.

What I find infuriating is that when my hormone pills come in a bottle they are cheap, but when they come in a monthly blister pack, they cost $45/month.
