A 5.0 (90) for me this morning.

@Tony - If they ever invented pills to replace food, I'd be a junkie. I think I need to hire a cute, sexy "food assistant" whose job it is to ensure I don't eat too much.

176 this morning. I hate eating and avoid it whenever possible. Since Mbuster started it, I'm blaming this, as well as yesterday's awful day of shaking, jerking and staring on the server problems. I think I may have an addiction problem with this thread. Who is Bob anyway, and why does he have a palindromic name?

98 for me this morning after a fitful night. I'm on GABA for 4 days now and it may not agree with me, I'll see in time.

79 this morning, 78 at bedtime.

I donated blood earlier this afternoon and I was just curious how it would affect my bg. So I tested before I left, 109 (which also happened to be 2 hr after breakfast). That was about 30 minutes before the blood draw. When I got home I tested again, 102, that was about 20 minutes after the donation ended. So not much change.

What did annoy me a bit was there was not one single snack there I could eat OR drink. No water available!! Apple juice, cranberry juice, orange juice, peanut wafer cookies, pretzels, and Keebler cookies! That was it!! Good thing I had macadamias, almonds and water in my car!! I never have any problems after donating, but some people do need a bite and something to drink to steady themselves. What's a diabetic to do in that situation???
They used to have water and little bags of peanuts or nuts, raisins, and coconut pieces among the choices. Guess the economy is getting to them too.

I said something to one of the staff that there was nothing there I could eat or drink because I'm a diabetic and she basically shrugged her shoulders and went on about her business. I had told them I had the stuff in my car so maybe they thought all was OK anyway.

Snap! I was at 85 this morning.
I went to see the doctor after that and the A1C was 5.9.
Doctors don't seem to know what to do when everything looks good
