Late waking and a 6.5 for punishment. On a better note, my weight (83kg) is sloooowly returning to pre-Edinburgh levels (78-80kg). The two Edinburgh trips I did in May really threw me off track to 89kg (well I threw myself off track by cheating during the entire time there!). Three months of fighting to get it back to within 3 kg of where I was before is NOT a good process to go through. Never again!

5.0 this morning. Last night I became "diabetic patient of the month" at my diabetes education centre. Pressure is really on now to keep it up!

Snuck in under the wire today with a 99 (5.5). Missed my walk yesterday and ended up being higher than I would like after dinner but down to an acceptable range this morning.

Good day all

5.4 for me. After 2 days of 4.4. Oh diabetes how I love you and you keep me guessing. Keeping our relationship fresh everyday. No routine with you.

I feel your pain. My daughter did very much the same thing before her move from WV to CO in June. Are you driving him up?

Fbg was 107 this morning. Still trying to figure out my new normal, after dropping sitagliptin (Januvia).

I jumped off the back of the wagon again last night. Went to a movie and ate some popcorn...not a lot, but still...ate dinner at a restaurant and ordered what I thought would be safe, but is wasn't...filet Oscar w/sweet potato puree which turned out to be sweetened with sugar....the waiter said it was plain butter and puree...ate a few bites of it and figured out he was wrong. Anyway, 128 this morning...almost did a retest, but decided it simply wasn't worth it. Oh, well, still learning lessons...

Yes, I told him that the truck was leaving Sunday, whether he had anything packed or not!
