67 (3.7) this morning, 75 (4.15) at bedtime.

The jerky came out pretty good! 2.7 pounds of raw meat yeilded 1 pound 2 oz jerky. At 1.24 g carb, 15.3 g protein, 5.5 g fat and 122.4 calories per ounce it is a great snack. A good sized piece is about 1/2 ounce so I can eat it w/o worrying about messing up my protein ratio.

I did my calculation based on the raw meat and spices, then divided by the finished weight to get the per oz numbers. Did I do that right?

91. (5.1) this morning. Eating out as a D has its drawbacks, but I've been good. More eggs now and a chicken salad for dinner with dressing on side, giving me choice to o-oil and b-vinegar.

Clea & CD I hope things changes soon for the better and you feel well again. I hear more about snow and the cold now than ever before and it does sound difficult with hard work in between. Its still warm here, but our evenings are now cooler. I often almost feel bad talking about our climate, and yet even we complain, come our rainy winter.

Thisstinks. Good to see you back and hope you feel better soon.

170 this morning.

CD and Clea, must be something going on. Just found out yesterday that I'd made some major errors in lesson plans for a course last term. Can't remember a thing about it or what I was thinking. Was told last summer that I had cognitive decline, but I dismissed it. I'm 20 or so years older, so there won't be any career moves for me. Economic and political climates infringe on things here too.

Nothing for it but to keep going on as usual and wait for the end of school in the summer, hoping I get things right. Got to get the unsettled feeling out!
