87 today and quite pleased to see it go down each day. Only two weeks ago before I started the LCHF my fasting was 130-135 every morning, and that was when I had been " good " at dinner. I could have, for instance, a big portion of mashed potatoes for dinner and see my am fasting reading go up to 190 or higher.

An improved 86 for me today. Went to bed at 82. As I said last night, lesson learned and a mistake I won't repeat.

Traveling for work, bit of stress, woke hourly during the night and my FBS this morning was 133... and I was doing so well!

143 for me this morning. Eeeek! I'm posting it for the motivation and accountability factor. Life is hard at the moment, and we've been away from home to boot, so proper diet has been difficult, and I gave in a few times. It's crazy that now my version of cheating is a single piece of Ezekiel bread, or a whole apple--- regular folk scoff at that, but this is what I get the next morning!! :/

Ready to knuckle down again and see better numbers. Appt with Dr. Wonderful on Thursday where he is going to give me the referrals I want, or else!!

Really confused. I eat apples with peanut butter all the time. No glucose effect. The bread is poison for me. I would never touch it. Regards-Dale

Everyone's different. Many diabetics can't touch most types of fruits, although some can get away with a small amount of berries or an apple, here and there. Others can't. Personally, my fruits are pretty much limited to avocados or olives (in moderation), or else my blood sugar heads straight towards 200. I had an apple with peanut butter one morning, a few months ago, to determine the effects. The result? 323, if I remember correctly. Like LaLa, I had to scratch apples off my safe list. Different foods affect everyone differently.

I had a nice surprise this morning! 77 for a fasting. The peaches are calling my name, but I didn't have one yesterday, but am having one today! I believe the 77 number is the first I've seen that low in these 3 years!

66 (3.7) this morning, 73 (4.0) at bedtime.

I have a huge yellow jacket nest growing under my front deck. I get attacked every time I go out front. My pest people didn't get me scheduled in time to control them early. They are coming today thank goodness. The earwigs are out inside and all the wasps/yellow jackets/wood bees, red ants are out in force out side. If I could find some way to get rid of the snake nest, I'd be totally happy!!

@etherea Thank you, I hope you feel better soon!
@Pat, wow, great number. Celebrate with that peach!!
