147 this morning.

Aaron, as appears to be your style, the words you write are thoughtful and generous. Surely the elusive Miss Right, now often referenced, will appear momentarily.

Barbara, I'm glad your healing is proceeding well, despite the apparent absurdities of the Ace bandage affair, etc.

I'm going to leave glucose high this morning until after a singing engagement. I don't know if the stress will raise glucose or if the energy expended will lower it.

Tamagno, I'm curious, will you be the one singing at the singing engagement? Is so what sort of singing do you do? Hope it goes well for you and your BG goes down, though not too low.

I'm done for the day eating and testing. My high was the 104 I had PP after breakfast. All the other numbers for today were under 100. That DP spoiled a chance for two days in a row of my high being under 100. Only consumed about 5g of carbs today. These VLC meals are doing great at eliminating my spikes. Disregarding breakfast when DP rears it's ugly head, my spikes are limited to about 10 or less points over my fasting - nothing more than a tiny blip compared to what I used to get. Hope I can keep this up, and if I can just get this DP under control once and for all I think I'll be very happy even if I cannot make any more progress. Of course I'll try my best to get the numbers even lower if I can.

A 108 for me today. Kinda high numbers the past few days from stress having our living room flooded from a plumbing pipe leak upstairs. Water pouring thru the ceiling! Fixed yesterday so maybe my numbers will drop down a bit.

Wishing everyone a happy and healthy weekend.

A 94 (5.2) this morning. Hoped for lower but didn't get bike ride in last night. Spent time sweeping broken glass off the shoulder of the road I ride. In between there was plenty of debris ( blown out steel belted truck tires, nuts, bolts, screws, glass) that turned a 2 stop bike ride into a three mile walk. Told BH having the bike may have looked less eccentric than just somebody a couple of miles from nowhere on the shoulder of the road using a broom.

131 this morning
I did stay in bed too long after waking. It is a luxury I'm not often afforded!
